Peter Wengryn

Chief Executive Officer


Mr. Wengryn is chief executive officer of VMS, the worldwide leader in Integrated Media Intelligence solutions.


Wengryn joined VMS in May of 1999 as the CFO and served in that capacity until being named the CEO of the company in October of 2002. Since becoming CEO, he has been the driving force in changing the VMS business model by centralizing widely distributed production activities and transitioning VMS from a commodity business to a solutions-focused service provider.


As President and CEO, Wengryn has assembled a highly driven and extremely skilled senior management team sharply focused on supporting this new company direction. His vision, passion and leadership have become hallmarks of his tenure at VMS.


Mr. Wengryn has more than 20 years experience in finance and management with companies such as Chase Manhattan Bank, First Boston, General Electric and Seven Worldwide. He served in various financial positions with these companies, from controller to CFO.


Mr. Wengryn graduated from Montclair University with a BS majoring in Finance in 1982. He completed his MBA in Finance at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985.

Neal Perchuk
Senior Vice President, Sales


Mr. Perchuk is responsible for the sales, services and relationship strategy for VMS Sales worldwide.


Perchuk joined VMS in November 2003, as Vice President of News Sales. He was promoted to his current position in October 2004.


Before joining VMS, Perchuk worked for AT&T;, where he was a founding member of the AT&T; Digital Media Sales Center, a group that developed AT&T;'s digital media sales strategies to Global Entertainment and Media companies. He has also held several senior positions at streaming media technology start-ups and companies in the film and television services business in New York City.


Mr. Perchuk is a 1990 graduate of the State University of New York, College at Purchase, with a bachelor’s degree of arts.

James Waggoner
President, InSight Analysis Division


Mr. Waggoner is responsible for InSight, a Division of VMS focused on Web-based integrated media intelligence tools and News Operations.


Since joining VMS in January of 1984, Waggoner has held a variety of positions. Most recently he was Executive Vice President of Operations and was responsible for the production side of the News and Advertising divisions. Before that, he had also served as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of the Dallas News office, among other positions.


Before joining VMS, Waggoner worked for Burrelle's Information Services.


Mr. Waggoner is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’ s degree in psychology.

Michael Giovia
Vice President, Marketing


Mr. Giovia is responsible for all marketing, public relations, and internal communications activities for VMS.


Giovia has more than 20 years of marketing, public relations, business development and alliance management experience in the software and telecommunications industries. His most recent position was Vice President of Global Alliances at Novell. He also held management positions at Bellcore and NYNEX.


During his career, Giovia has developed comprehensive marketing and public relations programs to support the development and deployment of several successful products. He also has extensive experience building strategic communications plans and working at the senior level with the national business and trade broadcast and print media.


He has also built and managed numerous cross-functional, inter-company teams focused on revenue producing, strategy driven, goals and metrics.


Mr. Giovia has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and elementary education from Dartmouth College.

Gerry Louw
Vice President, Chief Information Officer


Mr. Louw joined VMS as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Services in 2002. He is currently building the next generation of the largest video capture network in the world.


Louw has over 20 years of experience in new media technology. Along with his proven track record of success, he brings a passion for business-driven technology solutions to VMS. As Chief Technology Officer for World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. he paved the way for WWE to become one of the top three Web entities in the world and the leading provider of online and pay-per-view video content in the world.


Prior to WWE, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for AGENCY.COM, an award winning Internet technology and marketing company.

Laila Sayad
Vice President, Finance

Ms. Sayad is VP of Finance of VMS, the worldwide leader in Integrated Media Intelligence solutions.


Sayad joined VMS in July of 1999 as Corporate Controller and served in that capacity until being named VP of Finance in October of 2002.


She has 19 years of experience in accounting, finance and management with companies such as GS Imaging Services and Seven Worldwide. Before joining VMS, she was the divisional Controller of Seven Worldwide.


Ms. Sayad graduated from Montclair University in 1985 with a BS in Accounting.

Christine Fade
Director of Human Resources

Ms. Fade is Director of Human Resources at VMS. She joined VMS in December, 2004.


Fade has an extensive background in human resources. Most recently, she was Director of Administration at Claris Capital Corporation. Previous to that, she was Director of Human Resources at Deutsche Bank Americas in New York and earlier was the Head of Human Resources for Midland Doherty Limited in Toronto.


Ms. Fade has also worked as an attorney for Wooley, Dale and Dingwall, a large law firm in Toronto, where her practice areas included employment, securities, corporate, commercial, and real estate law. She is a published author on topics such as US and Canadian contingent workers, pensions, social security and employment law matters.


Fade studied Business Administration at York University and Law at the University of Western Ontario. Christine is also a member of the New York State bar and the Ontario bar in Canada.
