PR NEWS ANNOUNCES FINALISTS IN PR PEOPLE AWARDS; NAMES 4 TO HALL OF FAME

Angela Jeffrey, VMS, has been named a finalist in the program in the Measurement/Research Expert of the Year category

 

Dairy Queen, Burson-Marsteller, Lockheed Martin and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation are among the organizations that represent the PR professionals competing for honors in the 2006 PR People Awards. Presented by PR News, the leading trade publication among communicators, this highly competitive program showcases the chosen few with the right combination of dedication, passion, creativity and proven success.

The finalists in this year’s awards program include PR professionals at corporations, nonprofits and agencies large and small. The PR People award winners will be announced at a November 2 awards luncheon at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, and in the PR News All-Stars Special Issue in November. The finalists were selected in 14 categories including: Account Executive, Brand Marketer, Crisis Executive, Internal Communications and Media Relations Professional of the Year. PR News will also honor the Hall of Fame receipents and the 15-to-Watch winners during the awards luncheon. Angela Jeffrey, Vice President, Editorial Research at VMS, has been named a finalist in the program in the Measurement/Research Expert of the Year category. The awards were judged by a blue-chip panel that includes PR executives from corporations, agencies, nonprofits and associations, and leading educators and industry consultants.
