Angela Jeffrey, APR, vice president editorial research for VMS (www.vmsinfo.com), will be a featured panelist at the upcoming PR News PR Measurement Conference, June 3rd in Washington, DC at the National Press Club.

Jeffrey joins Matthew Gonring, Consultant at Gagen MacDonald and co-chair of the Institute for Public Relations, and Michelle Davis, VP Public Affairs & Marketing at Boston Children's Hospital. The moderator will be Larry Parnell, Director, Master's Degree in Strategic PR, George Washington University.

The panelists will address, "Integrated Communications Measurement" from 1:30 - 2:30pm on Wednesday, June 3rd.

Jeffrey will focus on the integration of paid media and non-paid media so as to compare your company's performance to your competitors'. It is now possible to correlate how PR impacts advertising, how your advertising is impacting your PR and how they work in tandem to influence results. Companies can potentially save millions of dollars by improving marketing performance 10-20%.

Since most communicators are charged to some degree with determining how PR initiatives stack up against marketing and advertising expense, this session is a 'must attend' for mid- to senior level practitioners.

In this panel, the presenters will get tactical with graphed-out examples and how-to steps that are guaranteed to help practitioners integrate their communications efforts with all business activities—particularly marketing and advertising—to ensure that their organization's goals are being realized whether the goals are to boost reputation, increase value to stakeholders or improve bottom line.
